Hannah Torrance Joins Headquarters Staff as Manager of Programs & Education


Phi Sigma Sigma Headquarters is pleased to welcome Hannah Torrance as manager of programs & education. In this new role, Hannah will be responsible for developing, implementing and evaluating chapter programming in the areas of academic achievement; leadership; personal development; philanthropy; and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Additionally, she will assist in scheduling and tracking of all educational initiatives for the Fraternity. Hannah brings six years of full-time professional higher education experiences to the Phi Sigma Sigma staff in the hopes to engage sisters through the development of enriching and development programs.

"Phi Sigma Sigma is committed to providing a premier membership experience and we look forward to continuing to support our chapters in achieving this through thoughtful programming at both the chapter and international level."

Hannah is a graduate of Chapman University and an alumna of the Epsilon Delta Chapter. In the pursuit of a career in higher education, Hannah earned a master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration from Canisius College. Through Hannah’s graduate program she gained professional experience advising Panhellenic and guiding leadership development programs at both The College at Brockport and The University at Buffalo.

Following earning her master’s degree Hannah honed her student advisement, supervision and program implementation abilities in the residence life departments at Niagara University and The University at Buffalo. Her most recent role as the Program Manager for Collegiate Housing at Alpha Phi’s International Fraternity HQ was a much- awaited career transition, as she ultimately sees herself guiding the advancement of the fraternity/sorority experience.

Since May of 2016 Hannah has served as a volunteer to the Fraternity in a variety of chapter facing positions as well as expert advisement and service several active task forces and committees. Hannah lives in Buffalo, New York.
