Job Opportunity: 2024-2025 Educational Leadership Consultant (ELC)



Are you looking for a professional entry-level position after graduation? Consider applying for a job with Phi Sigma Sigma! We are currently accepting applications for educational leadership consultants (ELCs) for the 2024-2025 school year.


A first job should provide you with a foundation of professional skill sets including effectively managing your time, multitasking, fostering communication amongst a variety of parties and various administrative skills. For many of our former consultants, this 10-month position helped them quickly learn the necessary professional skills to excel in the next step of their career.


Past Phi Sigma Sigma consultants have gone on to work for a wide range of industries including HR, corporate recruitment, marketing, teaching, higher education, physical therapy, government security and pharmacy, or have continued their education with medical school, law school or graduate school.


ABOUT THE POSITION

Educational leadership consultants (ELCs) are recent alumnae who support Phi Sigma Sigma as professional staff members. ELCs are responsible for working directly with Phi Sigma Sigma’s collegiate chapters and local volunteers to provide the best possible support and member experience for all sisters.


This is 28-week contract position with full-time travel and an expense account. ELCs are expected to be on-site visiting chapters with the exception of campus holidays.


Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides on-site and virtual recruitment support to assigned chapters

  • Facilitates chapter programs developed by the programs & education team

  • Conducts chapter assessments on behalf of the Fraternity


Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Must be an initiated member of Phi Sigma Sigma, graduated by summer 2024 and in good standing 

  • Self-motivated, outgoing and accountable

  • Ability to adapt to new and changing situations 

  • Comfortable working and traveling independently 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking

  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of policies and procedures

  • Willingness to be a “team player” with the ability to handle challenges

  • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license
