Volunteer Opportunity - Volunteer Development Task Force

The volunteer development task force is looking for a few volunteers to join the committee. To learn more about the qualifications and responsibilities of the team, please see below.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Phi Sigma Sigma volunteer experience supporting volunteers, such as a general advisory board or CKAs

• Experience developing a new team and navigating difficult team dynamics 

• Experience facilitation and leading small group conversations 

• Critical thinking and analytical skills

• Experience in higher education, or counseling/social work/therapy preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participate in building the volunteer development program

• Participate in facilitation and/or administrative duties of the program

• Build relationships with volunteers and alumnae throughout the organization

• Be an advocate for alumnae engagement through volunteering

EXPECTATIONS

• Attend and actively engage in bi-weekly conference calls

• Communicate regularly using Basecamp (project management software)

• Complete project tasks in a timely matter between calls

• Meets minimum standards of volunteer expectations

• Desire to work with a highly collaborative team
